There was a time when when we all lived in tune with the seasons.  There was no beginning or end, just an ongoing cycle where one season blended into the next, each preparing us for the next stage.
From Beltane (May 1) to Litha/Summer Solstice (June 21) we are being patient.  We have planted and we are tending.  We may see growth in some areas but not others.
Patience is required now.
Patience with ourselves as we may be reaching a comfortable spot with our new skill.  We have learned some and may become content with that level of proficiency.  The fire of Beltane may have started to smolder if we feel we aren't progressing fast enough.  Patience.  Continue tending to your skill as you would your garden.  The first step is over, the garden is growing.
Take a little time as the sun gets hotter and the days get longer to relax and  enjoy life as it is.  Enjoy the daily tending and notice the slow shift of balance.  As the days get longer and the balance shifts towards light, so does the balance of your knowledge.  While it was dark, the proficiency in your new skill was low and what you had yet to learn was high.  Now you know some and have yet to learn some, like a scale coming into balance.
The ground, and your goals, are fertile and ready to burst forth with the results of your work. Like May Day, the halfway point between the equinox and the solstice, you are at the tipping point. Continue building your skills and feeding your garden. Continue learning and applying what you’ve learned. Like the garden ready to produce, your goals are getting ready to bring big results!
Living with the seasons is also living intuitively. It’s following the inner voices and the outer shifts, looking and listening for signs that point us in the right direction.
