Hello adventurers!
So, this week I’m going to address an issue that comes up with many folks I chat with (both friends and clients). We all feel stuck sometimes. We feel like we know what to do, but nothing is working. Maybe, just maybe, it’s because we’re not actually doing the work.
Here’s to doing all the things!

You’ve taken a DISC assessment.
You know your Enneagram personality type.
You know your Meyers Briggs personality type.
You know your Human Design chart inside and out.
You've read dozens of personal development books.
But knowing isn’t enough. What are you DOING with this information?
Knowing about a problem or challenge is step one.
Learning about solutions is step two.
And this is where most people stop. You’ve learned so many different ways to solve the problem or move past the challenge, so why are you still stuck?
Simple.
You’re not DOING anything with the information you've gathered.
I get it. Applying the information in real life isn’t always easy. You have to do uncomfortable things. Things that are tedious, boring, even scary. But if you don’t do them, you’ll remain stuck.
Consider emergency first aid. Would you be able to stitch up a wound if you were out in the woods? You know how to sew, and you’ve read survival books and advanced first aid manuals. But have you actually poked skin with a sharp needle? Until you apply your knowledge, it’s still just theory. (And yes, the feeling of a thick needle poking through skin is very creepy… and I’ve only used synthetic practice materials!)
Going back to Human Design. You know your type, strategy, authority, profile and enough about most of your gates and channels. Great! Now, what are you doing with this information?
How have you applied your strategy and authority to a recent decision?
How are you communicating differently knowing that you have an undefined throat center?
Are you practicing getting out of your undefined head center and making decisions with your body?
If you’re not sure what all this means, you can get your free chart and a basic report explaining these parts of your design
As you are learning about yourself, and are doing the work of applying the knowledge to your everyday life, you are being who you were meant to be in the world with much less effort!
What have you learned about yourself recently and what changes have you made? I’d love to hear your experiences with in-the-moment grounding techniques, applying Human Design knowledge, mindfulness tips, or any other ways you’ve applied your personal development knowledge to change how you operate in the world. Share below!
This fall I’ll be leading a private online group to explore your Human Design and learn how to understand and apply the different facets to your daily life.
✨If you’d like an invite to the group when it begins in October, comment below or message me privately. I’ll send you a link to run your free human design chart and basic report so you can start exploring before we begin.
✨I’m limiting the group size to 15 members to start so everyone can feel comfortable asking questions, discussing their challenges, and get answers without feeling lost in the crowd.
✨The group will primarily be in chat format and we’ll go live together only on occasion so times zone differences won’t be a big issue.
Let me know by October 1st (today!) if you’d like to be a part of this initial group. My vision is for it to eventually expand so that those who have been in a while and have learned a bit, can then help others newer to the group.
