The present Leaves too quickly when we focus too much on the future
Some say there is a “shift” in the energy of the universe coming, apparently sometime between 2024 - 2027. It’s supposed to be pretty amazing from what I’ve been told. Every day I’m hearing a lot of “I can’t wait to see what it brings” and “I can’t wait to feel what it’s going to be once it gets here”. “It’s going to be amazing!” And while this future shift will be unlike anything we’ve experienced before, I think we’re missing the point.
Yes, a big and wonderful shift in universal consciousness is coming. Something big and wonderful is always on the horizon, but we still have “now” to deal with. And what we do with now is what will bring about that amazing future.
Are we cashing out today’s “now” for something supposedly great in the future? Are we hanging all our hopes and dreams on this future feeling? How will we know when it’s here? Or, when it gets here, will we still be looking for something bigger and better? And if that amazing future is dependent on what we do now, are we shortchanging the future by ignoring what is going on now?
My point is that even if something great is on the horizon, we still have some amazing “now-ness” to experience, embrace, and enjoy. What happens if we die before that big thing gets here? Will we have wasted the time we had today because we were perpetually awaiting the great shift to come? Are we spending all of our time looking forward to this unknown tomorrow and missing out on experiencing the amazing-ness of today?
Don’t gamble away today for tomorrow. The present leaves too quickly to not experience it fully. Right now.

“Wherever you go, there you are. Yesterday cannot be changed. Tomorrow has not occurred yet. All you have is now. Where are you now - physically, mentally, emotionally?”
