Hello Soul’s Journey family, and welcome to another week of the deep dive into our adventure as humans on this planet! As always, I’m spending time in my head and trying to figure out the way out. Funny that the title of this week’s post is “You Don’t Have to Figure Things Out”. Oh the irony!
Welcome to the rabbit hole 🐇
~Suzanne
I spend a lot of time in my head. I know I’ve mentioned that before. And while contemplating, pondering, and meditating are all well and good, being stuck in your head isn’t so much.
What happens for me is that a “fact” enters my brain and my mind decides it needs to deal with that fact. It needs to make up a story about that fact or it needs to respond/react to the fact.
In reality, I don’t need to do anything with that fact if it doesn’t affect me.
An example:
Three friends from different parts of my life recently decided to study massage in order to supplement their income as massage therapists (fact). My open Head center (mind) decides it needs to react to that fact: Why don’t I become a massage therapist? Will that work out better than the coaching business I already have? And thus opens the rabbit hole… Is what I’m doing enough? What other business should I be doing? Why am I doing what I’m doing? Am I helping the right people in the right way?
Sound familiar? It probably does! 7/8 of the human population has this same open Head center and we have been conditioned to react or respond to every thought that enters our head.
Have an idea? Just do it!
See a problem? Just solve it!
Here’s the thing… just because you see something or hear about something or learn about something, doesn’t mean you need to act on it!
So, three friends are now massage therapists. How does becoming a massage therapist feel to me? As a Manifesting Generator with Emotional Authority, here’s my experience: I could say that noticing my friends starting massage is an “opportunity for me to respond to”. However, it’s never been something I was particularly interested in doing and I don’t feel any gut instinct response (sacral response) to becoming a massage therapist (either to do it or not, it’s just not a feeling for me either way). And, since there’s no immediate gut response about it, I don’t really have to wait for the emotional wave. So all I really have to do is wish them well (and maybe see about bartering massage for Human Design work 😉)
Just because a fact presents itself, doesn’t mean you have to act on it or analyze it.
Just because a problem presents itself, doesn’t mean it’s your problem to solve.
When ideas, problems, random thoughts, or facts enter your head, based on the rest of your Human Design chart, you will learn to discern what is yours to act on AND when. The rest can simply remain.
Human Design is about moving into alignment who you’re not and remembering who you are at your essence. When you remember who you are and how you are designed to operate in the world, decisions come more easily and life opens up to you, revealing the opportunities you may have overlooked. Life simply flows. For your free Human Design chart and a brief reading, drop me a line!
