As appeasing as some mindfullness-oriented writings can be, I'm often wondering if it instills some complacency. Your words feel right - everything needs work, what are you willing to put in? I'm personally more inclined to this line of thinking. You're writing is great (I've read a couple others as well) - I'm subscribing to read the next ones!
It’s all about being present in the doing. Here are two excepts from my upcoming book:
Non-doing in stillness - It’s not about doing nothing. Look at the stars or sunrise. Watch the ocean or a river flow. Dwell in your stillness.
Non-doing in action - This is effortless activity. Whether it’s chores, work, or a hobby, be present and allow your actions to simply flow without effort.
